2) Age-gating and verification methods

We use a combination of controls to prevent underage access and to verify age where required. These may include:

• Date-of-birth gate at sign-up and/or before access to restricted features.
• Account checks (e.g., name, date of birth, address consistency and fraud signals).
• ID verification (e.g., photo ID and/or proof of address) when required by law, when we cannot confirm age, or when risk indicators are present.
• Third-party age/identity checks where available and appropriate (using data sources and verification providers).
• Payment and security checks to help detect misuse (not a substitute for age verification).

If verification is requested, access may be limited until checks are completed. We may refuse service if age cannot be verified.

3) If we suspect a user is underage

If we believe an account may be used by a minor, we may take actions such as:

• requesting additional age/identity verification;
• temporarily restricting features or suspending the account during review;
• closing the account where underage use is confirmed or verification is not provided;
• handling any balances/transactions in line with applicable law, our terms, and anti-fraud controls; and
• retaining limited records as necessary for legal, regulatory, dispute, and fraud-prevention purposes.

4) Parents and guardians

If you are a parent/guardian and believe a minor has provided personal information or created an account, contact us. We may request information to help locate the account and to confirm your relationship to the minor. Where appropriate and lawful, we will investigate, restrict access, and take steps to remove or de-identify the minor’s information.
